The popular television host Vanna White got inked by her daughter, Gigi, at the age of 68. She waited decades for this day and now she finally got her first tattoo. The tattoo is special as it was done by her daughter. White, the proud mother of two, also took a behind-the-scenes video as she got inked by Gigi. She posted the video on her official Instagram handle. Check it out below.
Vanna White, who is widely known as the co-host of the popular TV game show Wheel of Fortune, shares a son, Nicholas, 30, and a daughter, Giovanna, 27, with her former husband George Santo Pietro, who is a restaurateur. White's daughter, Giovanna or Gigi, is a professional tattoo artist who works at Lincoln Tattoo Company, in Venice, Calif.
White, before getting started, specifically mentioned that it was her choice to get a tattoo and that Gigi did not make her do this. After Vanna revealed what she wants as her first tattoo, which is a small heart, on her wrist, they went ahead and discussed what color it would be, and eventually landed on a special pink, which her daughter approved.
After her daughter was done with the tattoo, Vanna was in love with the final result and how it turned out. She claimed it was perfect and exactly what she wanted. In a 2022 interview with People Magazine, the Wheel of Fortune co-host said:
"I want to have matching hearts where she'll do a little heart on me and she'll do one on herself. I feel like I need to do that because it's her and it would be her on me."
White also talked about how proud she is of her daughter, Gigi, as she has come such a long way and continued something she is passionate about.
