Halle Berry shared a playful and intimate Instagram video with her boyfriend, Van Hunt, on Mother's Day. The 58-year-old actress uploaded a selfie video featuring herself lying on a bed with her longtime beau.

Van Hunt is a renowned musician who rose to fame with his self-titled debut album. Over the years, he established his name in the industry with hit songs and his signature creations with neo-soul, funk, rock, and R&B.

In the special video posted on May 11, Halle and Van shared a sneak peek into how they were ending Mother's Day. The Monster's Ball actress shared the fun video with the caption,

"Mother’s Day isn’t over just yet…💋"

The Instagram clip starts with Berry stating,

"So, I showed y'all how my Mother's Day started. And now, I'm [going to] tell you about... I'm not going to show you... I'm going to tell you about how my Mother's Day is gonna end. Ain't that right, baby?"

Van Hunt cheekily responded while lying next to her,

"Yes. I wish you'd hurry up, too."

Next, Berry showed her Let's Spin gel to the viewers, continuing to record the video. She further added,

"First of all, we got our Let's Spin because Let's Spin just came out with this little travel size. And since we're in Cannes, France, I traveled with it for the first time. We're about to give it a spin."

This premium intimacy gel is a product co-created by the actress's wellness brand, Respin, People reported.

Hunt slyly joined his partner in the video, sharing,

"We're about to Cannes with Van.

Halle Berry concluded the video featuring Van Hunt, wishing,

"Happy Mother's Day once again everybody. I hope all of you are somewhere spinning."

Van joined her too, expressing,

"Oh my God! I've never been so happy to have Mother's Day come to an end."

Van Hunt's journey with music

Born on March 8, 1970, in Dayton, Hunt began exploring and pursuing his one true passion, music, from an early age. Per Wikipedia, he started his musical journey at 7 with drums.

He learned multiple instruments

From playing drums, he slowly started learning several musical instruments during his childhood years, and honed his skills in learning bass, guitar, keyboards, and saxophone. According to a Page Six report, of all the instruments he mastered, the guitar was the last.

He made his debut in 2004

One of his breakthrough moments was his debut music album, Van Hunt, released in 2004. He successfully continued with his musical hits by releasing On the Jungle Floor in 2006.

The same year, he received a Grammy nomination for the Dust song, People reported.

Van Hunt won a Grammy Award

Hunt earned the prestigious Grammy Award in 2007 for Family Affair. He was awarded the recognition in the Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals category.

He is a dropout

The Seconds of Pleasure singer studied English at Morehouse College. However, he did not complete his degree and left the institution.

In a conversation with Essence, Van Hunt confessed that he called himself a "terrible student." He also expressed his wish to work in the "applied mathematics or astrophysics" field if he did not become a musician.

Popular record executive and producer Randy Jackson stood next to Van on his triumphant path. The American Idol judge managed the What Can I Say singer in the initial years.

While speaking with Windy City Times, Hunt revealed about not watch the TV show.

He has a son

According to Hola!, Van and Halle interacted during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Before meeting in person, they spent four months conversing over the phone.

In an interview with AARP: The Magazine, Halle admitted that she had never experienced something like this.

"We were forced to let only our brains connect and discover if we had a connection before our bodies decided to get involved."

Recalling those special days, she further added,

"I fell in love with his mind, his conversation."

In September 2020, the actress confirmed her relationship with Hunt, sharing a glimpse of her wearing her Van Hunt tour T-shirt.
