Kit Hoover is an American broadcast journalist best known for her role as an anchor on Access Hollywood, a show that covers events and celebrities in the world of entertainment. While she has been part of the industry since participating in MTV’s Road Rules in 1995, she started at Access Daily in 2010 and later on became a part of Access Hollywood. Kit Hoover co-hosts Access Daily with Mario Lopez, according to People Magazine.

Recently, Hoover filed for divorce from her husband, Robert Crowley Sullivan, CEO of Athlete Advantage. With three children ranging in age from 18 to 22, the couple has been married for 25 years.

Kit Hoover and Sullivan got married in 1999. Together, they have three children: two daughters, Hayes, 21, and Campbell, 22, and a boy, Robert Crowley Sullivan Jr., 18. The couple is officially reported to have split in May 2024.

Hoover filed the petition for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court on March 26. The petition in question cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for divorce. While the ex-couple have agreed to joint custody of their three children, the filing also notes that Kit is seeking spousal support as specified “per agreement of the two parties.” Once Sullivan signs the divorce papers, their assets will be divided pending a final evaluation. The pair currently live in Los Angeles, California, and have been married for 25 years.

However, both Kit Hoover and Sullivan have steered away from making public statements regarding their breakup in an effort to protect their family.

Also of note, Kit Hoover was reportedly spotted without her wedding ring in photos and videos leading up to their unfortunate split. The rumors about a potential split also started circulating as her Instagram posts had stopped featuring her husband like they usually did till around 2023.

An insider also told Us Weekly that Kit had been mentioning to everyone that she was flying solo for a while before even the split becoming official. The insider claimed,

“She’s been telling people she is single and getting divorced.”

Fans have been speculating about the state of her marriage based on her social media activity, with many expressing concern for her well-being. Despite the rumors, Kit Hoover has remained silent on the matter, leaving followers to wonder about the truth behind the alleged split.
