Renowned baseball player Enrique (Kike) Hernández González recently shared a happy news! Kike Hernández along with his wife and former Miss Puerto Rico happily announced the news on Instagram that the couple is expecting their second child.

“KIKITO coming soon! 🩵 #2026”, the couple wrote in a joint statement on August 12.

The Puerto Rican beauty caught the eye of the baseball player in early 2015 while watching the Hot Tub Time Machine 2. Hernández congratulated her on social media and the two started talking and exchanging messages. By the later part of 2015, the two had started dating.

Since early July, Hernández, one of the Dodgers' most versatile players, has been out due to a sprained left elbow.

Kike Hernández, 33, had several non-surgical treatments to treat the condition, raising initial concerns that he wouldn't be able to return this season. Nonetheless, manager Dave Roberts gave the utility man a potential return date.

Tommy Edman, Hyeseong Kim, and Max Muncy are among the Dodgers' position players who have been sidelined by injuries this summer. However, the most recent tidings of Hernández's possible comeback are huge for Los Angeles, as he is expected to play a significant part for the Dodgers in the last stretch and into October.

Born January 8, 1989, Mariana Paola Vicente Morales is a Puerto Rican actress, model, and beauty pageant champion. She ranked in the Top 10 in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2010.

After exchanging messages on social media for around two months, Kike Hernández and Mariana Vicente decided to meet in person and started hitting off instantly. In the later half of 2015, after around six months of talking to each other, the two confessed their feelings for each other and admitted that they were romantically involved with each other.

Kike Hernández proposed after more than a year of dating. He took Vicente to Big Sur, California, during an All-Star break in July 2017. A photographer had been surreptitiously hired by Hernández to document the event.

Vicente believed the hotel's exquisitely furnished apartment was merely a romantic gesture by the service while they waited for their room. She had no idea that it was all a part of Hernández's scheme.

Kike Hernández and Vicente's goal of a Puerto Rican wedding came true on December 8, 2018, when they were married in San Juan. With guests sat in a circle around the couple, the ceremony was unusually held in the round. Penélope Isabel Hernández, the daughter of Hernández and Vicente, was born on January 15, 2021.

Kike Hernández was ecstatic to have a child. In a tearful Instagram post announcing Penélope's arrival, he said,

"The day I got drafted I thought I was on top of the world... the day we won the World Series I thought I had it all; NOTHING compares to the moment when I met my little girl!!"
