Iliza Shlesinger, an American comedian and actress, is known for her several Netflix specials, as well as a successful career within the entertainment industry.
A Different Animal, her new comedy special, premiered Tuesday on Prime Video. Iliza Shlesinger talked about her experience as a mom of two and what goes around in a “mom brain.” Due to her recent special, many people have started to show interest in her personal life, including her marriage to Noah Galuten.
Noah Galuten is a chef, cookbook author, and food writer. Born in Santa Monica, California, he is the son of Grammy-winning producer Albhy Galuten. According to People, he initially intended to make a career as a playwright, but his interest in food diverted him.
Galuten went on to become a chef and author, writing several cookbooks, including The Don’t Panic Pantry Cookbook, based on his and Shlesinger’s YouTube cooking series of the same name.
Shlesinger and Galuten have two children together. The couple welcomed their first child, Sierra Mae, in January 2022. They also have a son, Ethan Lyons, whom they welcomed in February 2024. The couple has stated how they were very picky when it came to selecting names for their children. Talking about her son’s name, Shlesinger said:
"I picked Ethan partly because it means 'strong' in Hebrew and also because Ethans are usually pretty good-looking,' "
Iliza Shlesinger's career took off after her win in the 2008 season of NBC's Last Comic Standing and has led her. Now, her net worth is estimated to be somewhere close to $7 million, which comes from her work as a comedian, actress, and writer.

Shlesinger and Galuten first met through a dating app in July 2016. Their relationship quickly blossomed, and less than a year later, they both got engaged. Sharing the story, the comedian described how Galuten made his proposal.
"I realized our living room was full of flowers and candles, and Noah stopped me before I left the room, saying there was something he wanted to do before I ran off to the bathroom,"

She comically tackled the topic of motherhood. She also talked about the double standards women comedians face compared to male comedians.
Outside of parenthood, Shlesinger joked about the generation gaps, taking on Gen Z and Alpha. She compared the modern generation to millennials, deriving humorous content.
