JoJo Siwa and Kath Ebbs have broken up amidst the speculations around the former’s relationship with Celebrity Big Brother contestant Chris Hughes. The 27-year-old DJ posted a video via their Instagram handle (@kathebbs) to reveal that they were “dumped” at the after-party of the reality TV show.

JoJo Siwa previously made headlines for her bond with Chris Hughes. The latter is a well-known English media personality who shot to fame with his appearance on Love Island (2017) Series 3. The Gloucestershire-born 32-year-old reality TV star finished in third place along with his then-girlfriend Olivia Attwood.

Following his success, Chris Hughes became a TV personality and sports presenter for ITV Racing (horse racing) and The Hundred (cricket). Over the years, with the fortunes Chris accumulated with his TV appearances as a presenter and a reality star, he has accumulated a net worth of £1.4 million, according to Grazia Daily.

Chris Hughes is the son of Gloucestershire-based farmer Paul and has a brother named Ben. The Celebrity Big Brother 2025 contestant also has four half-brothers, according to RadioTimes.

The reality TV star was first linked with his Love Island co-contestant Olivia Attwood. Both survived until Day 52 but were unable to win and later broke up. Olivia recently commented on her split from the Love Island couple during her KISS radio show (via Daily Mail),

“It was toxic with Chris and we argued a lot. I never had that problem with Brad [Bradley Dack], we never argued. I was just incompatible with Chris. You meet on this show and things are very different in the real world. You think ‘oh s**t do we actually have stuff in common? It wasn’t meant to be.”

After his breakup with Attwood, Chris Hughes dated Jesy Nelson for almost a year. Their relationship was first reported by MailOnline in 2019, but they split the following year. Chris was then linked with Annabel Dimmock, a professional golfer, but The Sun reported their breakup in 2022.

Currently, there’s little to no information about Hughes’ relationship status. There were speculations about his relationship with JoJo Siwa, but Chris Hughes announced on the Celebrity Big Brother finale,

“We're just messing around—we're being kids. JoJo was like a pure rock to me. She was someone I can have fun with."

He added,

“From a friendship point of view, yeah, of course I love her.”

JoJo Siwa also shared her thoughts on her dynamic with Chris Hughes during the exit interview with CBB hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu. The Dance Moms star proclaimed that she “absolutely loved and adored” her co-contestant. JoJo Siwa added (via Mirror),

“I'm so incredibly grateful for him [Chris]. He's helped me get through my hard times in the house but more importantly he's helped me create my happiness in this house. He's more than a friend, he's just such a special guy, I'm so lucky. We had a lot of fun.”

JoJo Siwa came third, while Chris Hughes finished in sixth place. Hours after the finale aired, JoJo’s partner Kath Ebbs posted a video on Instagram, captioned, “Egg on me I guess.” They said that they are filming the clip in “a complete state of shock” and are “numbed out” and “disoriented.” Ebbs further revealed,

“I haven’t processed enough to, if you’d want to call it love bombing or whatever, but it seems to me I have experienced a version of that. Being told that I’m the love of someone’s life, being asked to marry them before ‘The Social Experiment,’ being adored throughout behind closed doors, being hurt by what I saw but wanting to work through it … to be met with, I guess, further humiliated in a weird way.”

Kath then revealed they specifically flew to attend the live to support JoJo but were “dumped” at the after-party.
