Younger brother of Philadelphia Eagles player Cooper DeJean, Beckett DeJean, has been arrested. Beckett has found himself in some hot water with the law after he was charged with operating while intoxicated (OWI) in Iowa. However, this is his first offense, and according to the Iowa Department of Transportation, first offense charges can lead to 48 hours in jail, license suspension, or a potential $1,250 fine.

The 20-year-old University of South Dakota student was booked at 1:09 a.m. local time on Sunday, January 11. He is part of the university's football team, following his brother's footsteps into the sport, the Coyotes. Though he did not play in any games in 2024, he competed on the scout team.

While his older brother Cooper DeJean is a cornerback for the Philadelphia team, he was drafted in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft and helped in taking his team to win Super Bowl LIX in his rookie year. Prior to going pro, he played the position of defensive back at the University of Iowa.

Aside from the two brothers, they also have a younger brother, Jaxx DeJean, who, following Cooper's path, will be joining the University of Iowa as a freshman in the fall of 2027, making the DeJean clan a full-on football house. Till now, he has been playing as a wide receiver.

Besides the information from the arrest reports, there have been no official updates regarding Beckett. The player himself has also not responded to anything as of now.
