Entrepreneur and media personality Paris Hilton has recently purchased a mansion formerly owned by actor Mark Wahlberg for $63 million. The purchase follows the destruction of Hilton’s Malibu residence in the Los Angeles fires in January, which was captured on live TV.

Paris Hilton has a net worth of $300 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. About Paris Hilton’s new $63 million mansion

According to the Wall Street Journal, Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum, purchased the Beverly Park mansion, which was sold in 2023 by Mark Wahlberg to a company for $55 million. The property appeared on sale in March for $68 million.

The Wall Street Journal notes Hilton was represented in the sale by her brother and sister-in-law, Barron N. Hilton and Tessa Hilton of Hilton Hilton. The mansion is spread over an area of 30,500 square feet and has 12 bedrooms in addition to a guesthouse, a skate park, and a sports court. The sprawling estate also contains a five-hole golf course and an enormous pool with waterslides.

As per The Guardian, Barron Hilton announced in 2007 that he would be donating 97% of his $2.3 billion wealth to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, founded by Paris Hilton’s great-grandfather. According to the publication, Barron Hilton had already made a $1.2 billion donation, with another $1.1 billion to be donated after his death.

Several media outlets speculated at the time that Barron’s decision was influenced in part by Hilton’s publicized arrest as well as the making and release of a s*x tape by her former boyfriend. At the time, Daily Mail noted that Hilton was motivated to build her own wealth, as she said,

“I'm developing my own hotels, casinos and clubs and getting into real estate. It's crazy at such a young age. I'm doing so much.”

Even in 2021, Hilton echoed the sentiment and, in a conversation with Variety, said,

“I was just having a meeting with my team yesterday and going over all of the businesses that we’ve launched in just the past year. It’s amazing that one person is doing so many different types of things.”

Hilton, in addition to her commercial ventures, is also a DJ, and in 2014, earned around $1 million for performing a set.
