Le'Veon Bell is now denying the charges made against him by his younger cousin. The former Pittsburgh Steelers player, who reportedly has a net worth of $12 million, has been ordered by court to pay $25 million dollars in damages for the s**ual assault of his cousin, Jada Bell. His brother, La'Vonte Bell, has also been ordered to pay $11.05 million.

Bell's lawyer, Thomas W. Shaffer has issued a statement to TMZ Sports. It reads:

"My client adamantly denies any and all allegations that have been lodged against him. Further, he was never served with a civil complaint or any documents."

He further added

"The default judgment granted was based upon violations of his Fifth Amendment rights of due process for failing to be served."

Shaffer added that La'Veon Bell is currently in the process of filing a motion to reverse the judgment.

"My client is in the process of filing a motion to open and reverse the default judgment because the narratives of the case have never been litigated." he said.

Jada Bell's lawyer, John Camillus, is challenging this above claim, stating that he has taken all necessary legal steps to inform the defendant that he was being taken to court.

Bell is now denying the charges, claiming that he had no knowledge of the case filed against him.

More details explored as Le'Veon Bell accused by his cousin

According to reports, the case against Le'Veon and La'Vonte Bell was filed back in March 2024, accusing them of engaging in an in**stous relationship with their cousin, Jada Bell. The lawsuit also alleged that the abusive relationship began around 2006, when Jada was "just six or seven years old" and continued "till at least 2017.".

According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Le'Von Bell used "coded language" to communicate his different requests, including referring to o*al s*x as "fire."

The lawsuit states that Jada was subjected to

"extreme and ongoing mental anguish and distress as a result of the incestual sexual relations forced upon her by the Defendants.”

It further claims that this abuse led to long-term repercussions on her life, stating it "has had an immense negative effect on her interpersonal relationships and day-to-day life."

On Tuesday, Le'Veon Bell went live to deny all allegations against him. In this rant, he says:

"Do y'all think Le'Veon Bell... do I need to force myself upon a woman? Anybody? Do I need to force myself upon them? I don't"

He further added:

"My number is so high... thousands of women, slayed by the dragon. I done slayed so many women it's like a f**king dragon bro. I'm a dragon slayer out here." he said while continuing to deny the charges.

Le'Veon Bell has also posted on X (formerly Twitter), claiming he is being embroiled in this controversy because he is a Black man who happens to be a Trump supporter.

"Being a black man and a trump supporter at the same time, so many ppl wanna attack me .. lol like why tho??? I just don’t get it .. it don’t matter tho, we STILL GOIN UP.”

Le'Veon Bell once had a lucrative NFL career, playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers after being signed in 2013. In 2019, he joined the New York Jets but retired in 2021 after failing to recreate his earlier success. Since then, he has pursued a career in professional boxing.
