“We're so happy together, it's just been such a wonderful, transformative time in my life. I'm so thankful to have her by my side.” she shared.

Anna Camp also addressed the buzz surrounding their relationship, admitting she hadn’t expected the spotlight.

“We're definitely surprised by all of the attention, to be totally honest, we've been a bit surprised by all of the hubbub, but there's been a lot of support so we're very grateful and thankful for everybody who is supportive of us. It's lovely.” she said.

The LGBTQ+ outlet captioned the post with a recap of the couple’s timeline. The caption spoke about Camp’s initial Instagram soft launch to the public, PDA, and now their official red carpet moment. But the comments section didn’t hold back, with users questioning the age gap.

Camp didn’t let the comments go unanswered. According to E! News, she took a moment to reply on Instagram with a clear message.

“I’ve dated men exactly my age and Jade is FAR more mature than any of them,” she wrote.

Camp, who split from Pitch Perfect co-star Skylar Astin in 2019, also shared why this relationship feels different.

“We have more in common than anyone else I’ve ever dated and can literally talk about anything and everything. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I’m wishing everyone well :) Especially this Pride month.”

In the aftermath of her divorce, Anna Camp opened up about the emotional evolution she experienced in her personal life. Reflecting on that period during the 2019 Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, she described the shift as both daunting and freeing.

“It’s been really scary and liberating at the same time, I've had some life changes go on, and I feel more me than I ever, ever have. It's a vulnerable place to be, but it's also really empowering. I just feel really grounded and that the decisions I've been making have been for the best. So, that's good.” she said.

Anna Camp, best known for her work on True Blood and Pitch Perfect, shared that she tried to focus on resilience during those challenging months.

"I think that I've learned that you can go through a life change and remain positive and also remain kind and friendly and things happen for a reason, I've also learned that, in the face of a challenge, I can rise out above it and even be better for it.” she shared.

Anna Camp and Skylar Astin married in the fall of 2016, but their relationship quietly came to an end in early 2019. The pair told People in April that they had “decided to separate,” emphasizing that the choice was both mutual and amicable. Shortly after the announcement, Camp proceeded with filing for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences in court documents.
