DC Studios’ official YouTube channel was reportedly hacked recently.
Many noticed the unexpected change in the address and account name with a new channel icon. The popular X account DiscussingFilm (@DiscussingFilm) also reported the same. The post also mentioned that a middle schooler seemingly hacked the channel. Team YouTube responded to the post and wrote,
“Thanks for bringing this to our attention! It's best for the channel owner to reach out to us, so we can provide them the next steps.”
Whether DC contacted YouTube’s team is unclear, but many on X reacted to the reported hacking. A user jokingly asked,
“Was the password literally just ‘Superman123’?”

Another user quipped,
“It was kevin feige [President of Marvel Studios]”
Someone wrote,
“Probably a marvel fanboy did it too..💔”
