The I'm Him rapper sat courtside while LeBron James scored 21 points against the Timberwolves. Gates’ unexpected appearance got attention from the X users, who posted their views.

In an Instagram video posted last week, Kevin Gates targeted LeBron’s wife, Savannah. The rapper claimed that the LA Lakers star was among the greatest players ever, but he would not trade places with him because of his spouse. Gates added,

“I don't like the way Savannah look at LeBron. I like the way them white women look at LeBron, like when, [as] soon as he walked out there, they just be like, 'Oh oh oh...'”

During his online rant, Kevin Gates described Savannah Gates as “the warden of the jail.” LeBron didn’t directly address the remarks made by the rapper, but he posted a picture with his wife on Instagram and wrote,

“‘Kings don’t concern themselves with the opinions of peasants.’ Where to next Queen?!?! Let’s get it! 👸🏾🖤♾️ “

Gates replied in another Instagram video,

“The truth hurts, but it heals And 'Bron, I love you, ‘cause you my n****. [...] As long as you’re being celebrated, I don't care who don't like me. [As] long as you’re being celebrated, that's all I care about.”

LeBron neither replied on social media nor confronted Gates after the Lakers-Timberwolves game.
