A Simple Favor star Blake Lively took to her Instagram account on March 11 to post a carousel of her favorite red carpet moments from the Another Simple Favor opening night. The upcoming film, Another Simple Favor, is the sequel to the 2021 thriller, which featured Blake in the role of Stephanie, a single mother.
While looking back at the event, Blake said,

Another Simple Favor features Lively alongside Anna Kendrick. The movie is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 1 and is her first film while she navigates the lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.
Blake and her co-star Anna Kendrick were rumored to be feuding after the release of the first film, with videos about the two taking jabs at each other going viral on the internet.
Director Paul Feig addresses alleged feud between Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick
Paul Feig, director of Blake Lively's upcoming film, Another Simple Favor, took to X on March 10 to shut down rumors of an alleged feud between Lively and co-star Anna Kendrick.
Feig responded to an X post which said,
"I just reported on Blake being terrified to walk the carpet as Anna is pi**ed and never wants to work with her again."
To which Feig said,
"Um...you're wrong."
The two were seen taking jabs at each other during the press tour of A Simple Favor. In a 2018 interview with MTV, Anna mentioned,
"I worked with her husband Ryan several years ago, so I met Blake a few times through Ryan on that film. And I thought she seemed nice. And little did I know!"
When Blake Lively attempted to reach towards Anna, the latter snapped and said,
"Don't touch me."
When the interviewer asked how the two got along during the production, Blake mentioned,
"I've had people who I don't necessarily...we're not best buddies at all moments, but we do well together on screen."
A couple of minutes later, when Lively said that she did not have the voice to play a Disney princess, Anna commented,
"Oh, muffin, it's so hard being you!"
Recently, during a premiere for Another Simple Favor on March 7, 2025, when a Variety reporter asked Anna how she feels about working with Blake Lively again, Anna responded, "Oh, you know..." before walking away.
