During the panel, British Actor John Boyega shared that he will never forget the day he got an email from JJ Abrams asking to meet up after he attended several auditions. John Boyega shared that,

"I had been auditioning for so long, so I felt like he kind of took away my dignity a little bit. I decided to pretend as if I was busy. You know, when you just pretend that you’re busy: 'I got other stuff to do, J.J.'"

But after the director insisted, he went to meet him. Boyega further stated that,
