Lindsay Lohan has been keeping a relatively low-profile considering her pop culture stature, offering her fans rare glimpses into her life when she deems fit. Lohan, now married to Bader Shammas, currently resides in Dubai and is a mother to nearly 2-year-old son Luai.

On June 22, the Mean Girls star posted a carousel of photos to social media via Instagram, giving her followers a taste of what she’s been up to. The photos show Luai and the happily married couple in an array of places and poses accompanied by a heartfelt caption:

“Sunshine, smiles, and family time! summer is sweeter together 💛☺️🙏 making memories 🫶.”

Lindsay Lohan and husband Bader Shammas were married in 2022. The pair then welcomed their son Luai to the world a year later in July 2023.

Lindsay Lohan also recently featured her son Luai in another social media post. On June 17, Lohan took to Instagram to post a happy birthday message to her husband. The first slide in the post was a picture of the couple while the second was a photo of Bader and Luai. The touchingly worded caption read:

“Happy Birthday to the love of my life. You’re an incredible son, a devoted husband, and the most amazing father. Watching you with our family is the greatest gift. You make us feel safe, cherished, and loved. Every day by your side is a blessing and I’m so lucky to walk through life with you. I love you endlessly. ❤️🎂🥳🎉🎊”

In a May cover story for Elle, Lindsay Lohan also spoke out on several topics. Among the conversations that stood out in particular was when the star shared that she and her husband Bader were considering having another child — a sibling for their son Luai.

"I feel like we live in a different world now, where women make it such a point, especially in motherhood, to make time for ourselves," she told the outlet. "We make it important. But also, once you have one kid, you’re like, 'Oh, my kid needs a kid to play with.'"

Lohan added that the experience of having siblings is irreplaceable, having three siblings of her own,

"There’s nothing like that. Also, I don’t know if it’s selfish — but I’m like, 'I need more than one kid to take care of me when I’m older.'"

Later in the same interview, Lindsay Lohan discussed her travel-intensive routine with SNL alum Chloe Fineman,

"I try. It's hard in L.A. Even taking my son the park in L.A., I get stressed. I’m like, 'Are there cameras?' In New York, there's no worry; no one bothers us. Everyone has their own thing going on."

Lohan continued,

"There's a different kind of energy in New York. I'd rather have downtime in New York than I would in L.A. But the nice thing about L.A. is, I like space [and you get that here]. But I'm thinking as I'm saying this, the funny thing is, in Dubai I get all of those things. I get privacy, I get the peace, I get the space. I don't have to worry there; I feel safe."

Lindsay will be appearing alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in Freakier Friday, set to release on August 8, 2025.
