Composer David Foster has become an idol for many thanks to his continuous hard work. The 75-year-old has brought his sound to the latest Broadway musical Boop! While the show based on the animated character Betty Boop was recently opened, Foster had his family's support as they all posed for photos.
Besides his wife Katharine McPhee, his three daughters also joined him for the special event. For the unversed, the 16-time Grammy Award winner has written songs for the new show. What makes it a milestone for him is that it is the first time he has composed music for a musical.

At the event, his daughters Amy, Sara, and Erin also joined him. One of his granddaughters also accompanied them.
David Foster has been married five times throughout his life and has six biological children, as well as several stepkids and grandkids. He had his first child, a daughter named Allison Jones, when he was 20. Allison was adopted by a family but was reunited with her father later.
About two years later, he tied the knot with musician B.J. Cook. The two welcomed their first and only child together in July 1973. They named their daughter Amy S. Foster, who is a songwriter.
Foster welcomed his third daughter, Sara, in February 1981, with his second wife, Rebecca Dyer. The former couple had their second child together, another daughter named Erin, a year later. Both Sara and Erin opted for a career in the entertainment industry.
During an appearance on the Sibling Revelry podcast, Sara revealed how she and Erin had a hard time when their parents ended their marriage. They claimed that their father began focusing on his stepsons, Brandon and Brody Jenner, after his marriage with Linda Thompson. The sibling duo, at that time, resided with their mother.
David Foster's fifth daughter is Jordan, whom he also shares with Rebecca Dyer. She was born in 1986 and currently works as a celebrity stylist.
Foster and Thompson's marriage ended in 2005 and the Canadian composer went on to tie the knot with Yolanda Hadid in 2011. They separated in 2017, and Foster married singer and actress Katharine McPhee in 2019. The couple welcomed their first child and Foster's only son, Rennie Foster, in 2021.
David Foster receives support from former stepdaughter Gigi Hadid
David Foster was also the stepfather of Yolanda Hadid's three kids: Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid. He and Gigi Hadid were allegedly close during the time he was married to the former supermodel. However, it seems that he is still close to his former stepchildren as he received support from Gigi during the opening of Boop!.
The 29-year-old took to her Instagram stories to share pictures of the new Broadway show. In one of the stories, she wrote, "NYC. BOOP HAS LANDED. AND SHE'S MAJOR." She added,
"MUSIC BY @DAVIDFOSTER !! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL @BOOPTHEMUSICAL."
David Foster is also the former stepfather of Brandon and Brody Jenner. The sibling duo's mother, Linda Tompson, shared them with her ex Caitlyn Jenner.
