British broadcaster Piers Morgan has shared his reaction to President Donald Trump's condolence post for Rob Reiner. On Sunday, the filmmaker and his wife, Michele, were found dead at their LA home. There were reportedly knife wounds on their bodies. Many notable personalities expressed grief at the tragic demise of the director and his wife.

President Donald Trump also took to Truth Social and wrote a condolence message. However, the US President called out Rob Reiner for his views against him. The POTUS remarked that the late filmmaker was suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

"A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS," the President posted.

He added,

"He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!"

Piers Morgan, who earlier paid tribute to Rob Reiner in a post, scrutinized the President for his sharp comments.

He urged the POTUS to delete his Truth Social post.

"This is a dreadful thing to say about a man who just got murdered by his troubled son. Delete it, Mr President," Piers Morgan wrote.

Piers Morgan highlights Rob Reiner’s reaction to Charlie Kirk’s death following President Trump’s criticism

After President Trump called out Reiner's political beliefs following his death, Morgan reshared an old clip of Reiner's response to Kirk's death. The Stand By Me director sat for an interview with Piers Morgan in September this year. During the conversation, the English broadcaster asked Reiner's reaction to the TPUSA founder's assassination.

"Well, horror. A absolute horror. And I unfortunately saw the video of it and it's beyond belief what happened to him and that should never happen to anybody. I don't care what your political beliefs are. That's not acceptable. That's not a solution to solving problems. And I felt like what his wife said at the the service at the memorial they had was exactly right," Reiner said.

However, later in the interview, Rob Reiner bashed the President for allegedly influencing the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel's show. While he opposed the idea of people calling the President names, he blamed the POTUS for using his agencies for his political vendetta.

"When you have your head of your FCC doing that… that's something that we can all rally around, Republicans and Democrats, to say, 'No, no, no, no. You're crossing the line here.'... I think what we're seeing is Donald Trump trying to find ways to take these federal agencies, whether it's the Justice Department and going after his you know his political enemies. That's an authoritarian type thing. That's what authoritarians do," Reiner stated.

Rob Reiner and Michele's son, Nick Reiner, was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of their murder.
