British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) 2026: Complete longlist explored

The British Academy Film Awards have officially announced their longlist for this year. Nominations for the 2026 British Academy Film Awards will be announced on Tuesday, January 27. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 22, at London's Royal Festival Hall. Alan Cumming will host the event.

British Academy Film Awards' 2025 winners were as follows,

A total of 221 films were submitted for consideration at the 2026 British Academy Film Awards. The official longlists feature 82 films across 25 categories. The 2026 British Academy Film Awards' longlists are led by Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another with 16 mentions. Chloé Zhao's Hamnet and Ryan Coogler's Sinners appear 14 times.
