According to a report in Page Six, the “pop star meets NFL quarterback” crossover is gaining new momentum after singer-songwriter Madison Beer was recently spotted filming a new music video with a surprise guest at her side: Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.
In a photo circulating on X (formerly Twitter), Beer wears a white dress while Herbert stands next to her in a navy-blue crewneck. In another photo, the “Make You Mine” hitmaker gazes directly at the camera, while the athlete looks at her.
Recalling, Madison Beer attended a game back in December 2024 to watch Justin Herbert, drawing various speculations online.
Madison Beer’s dating life has previously made headlines, from her relationship with TikTok creator Nick Austin to a brief romance with Brooklyn Beckham.
The "Reckless" singer has also spoken candidly about her sexuality and mental health, which solidifies her status as one of today's most outspoken young artists.
Madison Beer and Nick Austin spark breakup rumors after years together
Madison Beer’s romantic life has barely been out of the limelight, especially throughout her years-long relationship with content creator Nick Austin.
They first hit the headlines in 2020, and in March 2021, the ex-Hype House member sealed their romance with a birthday post, where he referred to Beer as his "dream girl" and his "soulmate."
On a now-defunct post, he penned:
“I don’t know how I got so lucky. Happy birthday to the love of my life, my best friend, my dream girl, my soulmate. Every day with you feels like I’m dreaming, which I might be. I love you. Forever n ever n ever <3.”
However, in late 2024, eagle-eyed fans noticed that both had unfollowed each other on social media, igniting the speculation that the couple may have called it quits.
Neither Beer nor Austin has publicly confirmed a breakup.
Still, in April 2025, when asked if she considers herself a relationship person, the pop star shared with Cosmopolitan:
"For sure. I love people. I meet someone, I love them. I’m like, 'Okay, I’m never letting you go. You’ll be with me forever until you hurt me.' That’s the deal. I think I also, because I have such a weird life and never feel safe and comfortable with someone, when I cross that line of 'you’re my boyfriend,' it feels really big."
Madison Beer has come a long way since Justin Bieber first shared one of her YouTube covers, launching her into the spotlight. The Grammy-nominated artist, who boasts over 20 million followers on TikTok and more than 40 million on Instagram, has since built an impressive career as a musician and influencer.
Justin Herbert isn’t quite as dominant on social media, with 626,000 Instagram followers, but has built his reputation on the field. With offensive challenges ahead, including the loss of lineman Rashawn Slater for the season, the quarterback’s leadership will be tested.
