The eighth installment in the Mission Impossible films, The Final Reckoning, is having quite a great run already, as the film has already covered half its production cost quickly after its release. It's not just about Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt but the remaining characters who came together to prevent a deadly nuclear warfare planned by an artificial intelligence called the Entity.
It's full of action, and Hayley Atwell, who became a part of the team in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023), had quite a few fight sequences in the latest film. But the fact that she was almost nine months pregnant while pulling the stunt off in this scene is worth praising. She revealed this while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She said,

"I have to say, I was taken such good care of, everyone was so supportive. And they were like, ‘Oh, you can sit down and we’ll have a stunt double do it,’ and I was like, ‘No, I’ve worked too hard, let me do it!’ So I did it, and here it is."
Hayley Atwell plays Grace in the latest movie, who is an Impossible Missions Force (IMF) agent. Although she was first introduced as a thief in the previous film. To some extent, she also acts as Ethan's new love interest in the franchise.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon had this exclusive clip that begins at the 6:46-minute mark. Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell are fighting with a man. The former is first trying to loosen the man's grip to prevent him from firing a gun, and the latter kicks at the back of the man's leg.
A gunshot is seen, but thankfully, it's pointed at the ground. No one's hurt. Then, another man who is wearing some hospital clothes attacks Atwell's Grace with a couple of knives in his hands. She gracefully dodges them while Cruise's Hunt is busy with the other man, who isn't able to point his gun anywhere but at the floor.
However, this man outshines Hunt and throws him against a pillar. It's the other way around for Grace as she is beating the living pulp out of her attacker. But the attacker eventually wins and is now keeping the knife at her neck. The clip ends as she tries to struggle and screams, "Ethan," while Ethan lies on the floor, struggling against his attacker.
Hayley Atwell shares about the training that went into making the last two movies
While at the show, she also shared the training that went into making these two films over five years. This included a bit of physical training and a bit of movie-watching at Tom Cruise's house.
She shared that they watched a range of movies for references and included mostly heist films. Some of the films she mentioned include The Sting, What's Up, Doc? and more. It's not just Hayley but also her dogs who got invited to the star's house for some cinema. Though they made the environment smell funny, she mentioned how potent farters these doggos can be.
