Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival 2025 lineup and further details

The first set of lineup and headliners for Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival 2025 are as follows:

  • Metallica (headliner for day 2 and day 4 of the festival)
  • Rob Zombie
  • Alice in Chains
  • Killswitch Engage

The rest of the lineup will be announced in the coming days. The festival is located near the Ohio State University Campus at One Black and Gold Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio 43211.

Speaking about the addition of Metallica to the lineup, Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents, which produces the festival, stated:

“Every year we ask our fans who they want to see at Sonic Temple, and the answer this year was clear — Metallica! We’ve been trying to get Metallica to Sonic Temple for the last five years, and are ready to bring two nights of Metallica to Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio next May,”

Wimmer added:

“This is just the start; we’ll have more than 100 bands playing across 4 stages for 4 days, including Rob Zombie and Alice in Chains in direct support for Metallica. We’re so excited about this lineup that we’ll be announcing artists daily for the next month, so there’s a lot for fans to look forward to.”

The festival premises will have lockers for rent, and it is an all-ages event. Re-entry into the stadium premises is prohibited unless a patron has a camping or hotel package pass. The festival is also working with the Living The Dream Foundation to help those who are severely ill or terminal patients have an opportunity to attend the festival.
