Katy Perry is feeling grateful as her Lifetimes tour comes to an end. On Sunday, December 7, the Wide Awake singer shared a video on her official Instagram, celebrating all she's gained during her tour. At the beginning of the minute-long video, Katy Perry stands with some of her dancers as she takes stock of everything that has happened during her tour, including a breakup from Orlando Bloom and finding a new romance with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
She said:
“I’m just so grateful! This has been amazing! 90 shows. I think our whole lives have changed. Yes. I'll never be the same. I got a lot on this tour. You know I got a lot on this tour. I got love. I got connections. I got community. I got family. I got tea.”
She became emotional towards the end, thanking her crew for being with her throughout.
“I got to grow with you guys. Thank you for bringing me through all of this.”
“This smells so bad,” she joked as she wiped her tears with a dancer’s shirt.
Earlier this year, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced their separation after nine years of being together:
“Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.”
They added in the statement:
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.”
