The Beckhams are not picture perfect. Victoria Beckham is desperately trying to make peace with her estranged son, Brooklyn Beckham. Radar Online has reported via an insider source that Victoria is trying to reach out to her son and bridge the rift before the holiday season.

In her recent Netflix limited series, Victoria Beckham, she has asked for scenes including Brooklyn not to be cut out of the show. However, a source close to Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, stated that he is not interested in being featured in the documentary and would rather see his family members approach him in a different manner.
Did the feud between Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz start because of a wedding dress?
Many believed that the long-standing feud between Spice Girl alum Victoria Beckham and Lola actress Nicola Peltz was because of the latter's wedding dress. However, that is not true.
Back in 2022, when Nicola and Brooklyn got engaged, Victoria offered to make Peltz's wedding dress. According to a source, they revealed:
"When Nicola and Brooklyn [Beckham] got engaged, Victoria told Nicola that she'd love to make her wedding dress, and Nicola said it would be her honor, that she would love to wear one of her originals."
However, Victoria later called Nicola's mother, telling her she would not be able to make her daughter-in-law's dress.
The source added:
"Nicola was painted as a brat for not wearing Victoria Beckham at the wedding... She'd gone to a ton of Victoria Beckham fashion shows and events in Victoria's clothing. She even wore Victoria Beckham to her Lola movie premiere."
But Nicola Peltz finally cleared the air in an interview with Variety. She said:
"I was going to [wear Victoria Beckham] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress. She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn't say I didn't want to wear it. That's where it started, and then they ran with that."
Peltz decided to opt for a Valentino Haute Couture dress for her wedding in 2022.
After the wedding dress rumors were cleared, there seemed to be more turmoil within the Beckham family. Peltz and her husband lived in Los Angeles at the time and were not seen during David Beckham's 50th birthday in March. This was when speculation began that there was bad blood between the couple and his family.
An insider source told PEOPLE in May:
"The relationship is definitely not beyond repair... They love and are always there for [Brooklyn]. They're just hurt and disappointed that he's now playing no part in family life."
How does Brooklyn Beckham feel about the rift between his wife and mother?
Coming back to the news that Victoria Beckham is ready to make amends, the insider source said:
"But Victoria is ready to put the past behind them and is sorry that it got so nasty and out of control... She's convinced she'll get more with honey than vinegar at this point, and figures Brooklyn must be sick of being controlled by Nicola and isolated from his family."
They also expressed Brooklyn's side, saying:
"Brooklyn's caught between a rock and a hard place... He loves his mom and misses her terribly, as well as his dad and his siblings. But he's scared to defy Nicola, who's very clear that she expects him to hold firm and stand up for himself... It's putting Brooklyn in an impossible situation, as he's being forced to make a choice between his mother and his wife."
Victoria Beckham's effort to mend her relationship with Brooklyn shows just how much she wants her family to be whole again. Despite the lingering tension between her and Nicola Peltz, Victoria seems ready to let go of past misunderstandings and rebuild trust.
