Jen Lilley will bring more Christmas cheer to Great American Family as one of Little Women's March girls.
Great American Family is gearing up for the holiday season with a lineup of Christmas flicks, some featuring soap stars. First, we learned General Hospital's Cameron Mathison will star in Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells. Now, comes word that Days of our Lives' Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa Donovan) will play Meg March in A Little Women's Christmas.
A Little Women's Christmas is based on the 1868 Louisa May Alcott novel chronicling the story of the March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. Lilley will play Meg in this latest adaptation. Trevor Donovan, who played Jeremy Horton on Days of our Lives, is also set to star.
"A Little Women's Christmas is a new Christmas classic in the making, with an incredible ensemble cast and an adaptation of an original story that is one of the best I have read," Great American Media president and CEO Bill Abbott said, according to Variety. "Louisa May Alcott was intentional about focusing on the culture of young women, their hopes, ambitions, and dreams, and it remains one of the most widely read and beloved stories ever written."

Little Women has had several adaptations for both the big and small screen with Katerine Hepburn starring in a 1933 version, Winona Ryder headlining a 1994 film, and Emma Watson starring in the latest big screen 2019 version.
Lilley is no stranger to Christmas movies, both on Great American Family and the Hallmark Channel. Her films include Royally Wrapped for Christmas, A Paris Christmas Waltz, Mingle All the Way, Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday, and USS Christmas.
Lilley was last seen on Days of our Lives in the fall of 2023 as Theresa when she returned to say goodbye to Victor Kiriakis, played by the late John Aniston. It was a short stint for Lilley before Emily O'Brien took over the role.
