Days of our Lives' Emily O'Brien stars in mind-bending drama Glint

Catch Emily O'Brien (Gwen Rizczech, Days of our Lives; ex-Jana Hawkes, The Young and the Restless) in Glint, a film that stars her as a single mother struggling with mental illness.

Days of our Lives star Emily O'Brien (Gwen Rizczech) has shown the daytime community what she's made of, but now the three-time-Emmy-nominated actress is flexing her acting muscles in a tense new film called Glint.

The psychological drama follows O'Brien as a struggling single mother whose life is further complicated by the onset of a bizarre mental illness that has her questioning if she's losing her mind or if her newfound visions have deeper meaning.

"Quite proud of this one!" the actress posted on Instagram. "Directed by Grant Janes & currently in the festival circuit. Such a joy to have worked with this group of creatives. Coming soon!"

Glint, which was written by Tonya Agurto and Grant Janes, also stars Ava Castro, James Eddie, and James Bartz.

"Can't wait to see this!" Brandon Barash (Stefan DiMera) shared about O'Brien's film. Added Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis), "Looks great Emily!"

O'Brien got her start in the soap world playing The Young and the Restless' Jana Hawkes from 2006 to 2011, earning three Daytime Emmy nominations during her time on the CBS soap opera. She made her DAYS debut in June of 2020. Some of her other credits include television series such as One Day at a Time and Love, Death, & Robots; movies such as The Cloud, Iris, Pernicious, and Get Married or Die; and video games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Batman: The Enemy Within, and Death Stranding.
