However, he did not receive a Daytime Emmy nomination for his role.

6) Lane Davies

Lane Davies is a popular name in daily soaps as he has been a part of a couple of them. Although he started working in daily soaps with Days of Our Lives in 1981, but gained prominence with his character Mason Capwell in Santa Barbara.

Davies’s character is described as the black sheep of the Capwell family, around which the show revolves. He initially tries to impress his dictatorial father, C.C. Capwell, but later on gives up on it after C.C. rejects him as his son.
