Electra and Will grew closer as Remy Price came to town and watched. Remy let Electra know he was at Il Giardino and told her he moved to Los Angeles for a new start and to be closer to her. Steffy had Katie send Hope a copy of the press release about her firing, which only fueled her and Carter’s contempt for Forrester. Ridge delayed the release until he talked to Finn, who backed up Steffy’s assessment that Hope was flinging herself on him in lingerie. Brooke tried to convince Finn to tell Steffy to change her mind about firing Hope, but he refused. Carter was conflicted about betraying Eric and Ridge, but Hope convinced him their best move was to take over the company in revenge. Carter tried to demand that Ridge and Steffy change their minds about Hope’s firing and canceling HFTF and threatened that something bad would happen if they didn’t. Steffy told Carter that Hope was a bitch and she wasn’t changing her mind. Carter took the LLC tax paperwork to the CEO’s office for Ridge and Steffy to sign. Ridge noticed that Carter’s name was on it but trusted that he was doing what was best for the company, and the paperwork was signed. Brooke overheard Hope and Carter discussing in detail how they duped Ridge and Steffy into signing the paperwork that gave Carter control of Forrester Creations. Brooke went to Ridge and told him everything — that Hope and Carter were in a relationship and that her daughter was involved in Carter’s coup of the company.
