This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Liam confronted Bill about his involvement with Luna’s pardon and release. Liam couldn’t believe that his dad would secretly harbor Luna to serve her sentence, much less help with putting her back on the street. Bill lamented that Luna wasn’t safe in prison, but Liam reminded him that she was a double murderer who caged and tried to kill his daughter’s mother, Steffy. Bill took Luna’s side and turned on Liam, not liking the truth bombs he was dropping. The two men argued to the point that Bill threatened Liam’s job, so Liam quit before he could be fired. Bill then ranted to Liam how he was nothing without him and couldn’t succeed in his personal or professional life without ‘daddy’s help.’ Liam was furious and hurt that his dad was willing to turn his back on him but would help Luna. As Bill yelled at his son, Liam’s vision went blurry. Bill stormed off, warning Liam not be there when he got back, but after he left, Liam collapsed in his living room. Still alone, Liam later came to, but he got up and stumbled to the front door, confused. As he made his way outside, he felt the back of his neck. Bringing his hand around to look at, he saw the blood and passed out again, this time hitting his head on the stone walkway.
Steffy talked to Ridge at the office about how happy they were to be back. They mentioned Liam, and Steffy acknowledged what a great dad he was and a good friend to her. She felt bad that he was so upset as well by what Bill had done to help Luna. Steffy decided to go to bat for Liam and went to Bill’s to give him a piece of her mind. Instead, she found Liam sprawled at the entrance. Steffy called 911 and went with the ambulance. At the hospital, Dr. Buckingham explained that Liam had a life-threatening cranial hemorrhage. As she called for a CT scan, Liam flatlined.
At Il Giardino, Luna spied on Will and Electra. Will had asked Electra to get more intimate, but she wasn’t ready to take their relationship to the next level. When she went back to work, Luna moved in and told Will she could help him out in any way he desired. Will seemed receptive to her seduction attempt but then told her he actually wasn’t interested and never would be.
Sheila shocked Deacon when she told him that Luna was her granddaughter, but Deacon told Sheila to choose him or Luna. Sheila said she chose her husband but called Luna to come visit right after he went to work.
When Will told Electra that Luna had hit on him, she marched over to Sheila’s, found Luna, told her to stay away from her and Will, and gave her a shove for good measure. Luna found it amusing.
Hope continued to be upset that she was ousted from Forrester while Carter and Brooke stayed on. She thought it was Steffy’s icing on the cake to keep Carter and flaunt it. Hope wanted someone to champion her cause but didn’t believe that Brooke was it. Brooke offered to try to talk to Ridge but Hope thought that was a waste of time and didn’t think her mom got the point. She went to Deacon, who ranted in all the right ways and told her that he would be her biggest supporter. Deacon asked Hope to move into the apartment next to his and Sheila’s.
Brooke did try to sway Ridge to rehire Hope and said it wasn’t fair that Carter got to keep his job. Ridge was surprised that Brooke still didn’t understand the difference, and that Hope still didn’t think she did anything wrong.
