The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, May 12-16: Liam bonds with Hope and Bill, Carter misunderstands

This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, Liam invited his dad to meet him at Il Giardino, an invitation Bill quickly accepted. The father and son apologized to one another for their last argument, and Bill tearfully told his son that he regretted the horrible things he had said. Meanwhile, Finn was home alone, and Luna came over, letting herself in through the front door. She asked Finn to have a new relationship with her as father and daughter, but he said he couldn’t. Steffy came home and interrupted, tossed out Luna, and then confessed to Finn that she blew Liam’s secret and told Hope. Finn thought it was a bad idea, but she explained that Hope loved Liam and deserved to know. Finn changed his mind and agreed with Steffy instead. Taylor stopped by, and when she walked through the door and saw her daughter crying, she wanted to know why. Steffy told Taylor that Liam was dying. Taylor agreed to be there for both Steffy and Hope but suggested that Liam get a second opinion and look into other life-saving treatments. Carter told Brooke and Daphne separately that he wasn’t giving up on Hope. Daphne was undeterred and continued hitting on Carter. Brooke warned Daphne that Hope and Carter would find their way back to one another, so she should just give up. At Brooke’s, Liam and Hope bonded. She cried that she had never told him enough that she loved him and regretted how things had ended between them. Liam figured out that Hope knew he was dying. Hope decided she didn’t want Liam to be alone and said he belonged with her and Beth. Carter eavesdropped from the front door and misunderstood their conversation. He went back to work and grabbed Daphne. Carter took her to his loft so he could vent about how he put his life on the line for Hope. Daphne told Carter several times that he and Hope didn’t belong together, but she was there for him. Luna told Sheila that Steffy was preventing her from having a relationship with Finn, and called Steffy a bitch.
