On The Bold and the Beautiful, Crew Morrow came in as the charming and dashing Will Spencer. This week, the actor had to run the gamut of emotions. For that, he earned the honors of Soap Central’s Performer of the Week for The Bold and the Beautiful.

When Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) first walked the halls of Forrester Creations to visit his mom, Katie Logan (Heather Tom), he knocked Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) off her feet — literally. As they bumped into one another, she may have been frazzled, but one flash of Crew Morrow’s smile made everything okay. It was in that moment that he won fans over, as well.

Since then, Morrow’s storylines have been somewhat limited, although there have been quite a few moments of him showing his comedic timing. He recently was able to branch out when Will Spencer shared his feelings about almost losing his brother, Liam (Scott Clifton).

This week, however, Morrow was at the center of attention. He had to portray a young man in love, recently surprised by a promotion, and the guest of honor at a party to celebrate his professional growth.

It’s not easy to properly portray someone who’s under the influence of alcohol without coming across as corny or fake. But Morrow managed to have just the right amount of slur to his speech, stumble to his walk, and overall demeanor to make it work. Couple that with a sex scene, and he definitely had everyone watching every move.

The day after the party, Morrow ranged from the guy with the confused hangover, to his face lighting up as his memory served. Once again, a young man in love who believed he had just taken his relationship with Electra to the next level, he sauntered into the office with a mix of boyish charm and confidence — only to realize that he and Electra hadn’t made love at all.

It was in that moment that a thousand thoughts hit Will like a ton of bricks. Morrow’s face paled, his eyes widened, and his mouth looked like someone who wanted to scream, but the nightmare prevented any noise from coming out. The sheer horror of realizing he had sex with someone but no clue who washed over his face, and there was no mistaking his expression.

Bravo to Crew Morrow for taking fans through this mind-blowing storyline with a realistic reaction to a horrible situation.
