Fans and viewers comment on our articles on message boards and many popular sites like Reddit, and they all say the same thing: Can we not keep going around and around with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) bouncing between Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig), and the women keep falling for the same nonsense? Some comment that no self-respecting woman would keep picking up the leftovers of the same woman over and over again. Many others ask why Ridge repeatedly makes the same mistakes. It’s like getting on a Ferris wheel that won't stop. Let us off this ride.

Reddit User MarkBaker251 said, “That really is the truth. On other soaps, characters their age would have settled down, and offer advice to their kids and grandkids. Ridge at the age of 70, acts like a horny frat boy.”

Reddit user johnothy added, “I’ve said this all along. This so called triangle doesn’t work anymore and it’s pathetic they write Taylor as a doormat second choice who’s always desperate for Ridge that she hasn’t found someone else in all these years? Ridge has always gone back to Brooke and usually the only reason he left her in the first place was because of scheme and manipulation by Stephanie, Thomas, or Steffy…Yet Taylor always falls for it again…

The fact that Steffy can’t ever move on and act like her parents just have to be together is ridiculous. I’ve never seen storylines so recycled and repeated as the way they are on this show.”

Reddit User sparkly-glamazon wrote, “Are we gonna pretend that Brooke isn't written as a doormat either? Ridge sleeps with Taylor and Brooke's reaction is that they'll be back together anyway so whatever. It's silly. She just accepts infidelity as par for the course for their "destiny.”

The message is clear that the fans are tired of this triangle being recycled. No matter how it’s packaged, at this point, it lacks a foothold in reality and isn't entertaining anymore. Hopefully, this time around, it has a twist we don’t see coming to make it all make sense.
