On The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter and his girlfriend, Hope, pulled the coup of all coups, but some viewers are over how it's been handled and are vocal about it.

One look at either the message boards or the popular site for people's opinions, Reddit, and it's very clear what people think of the storyline involving Carter and Hope taking control of Forrester Creations. Whether it is about the legality of it or the motives, people are getting heated.

One Reddit user has a unique solution. On the SubReddit r/boldandbeautiful, Redditor Pensaro said, “Here's what i think should happen... Carter should, in his capacity as mgr of the LLC, split FC into two companies: FC and Logan-Walton. Logan-Walton gets Brooke's Bedroom, Hope for the Future, and the global luxury brand. FC gets the rest. Then transfer ownership of FC back to its current owners. Eric (50%), Ridge (20%), Steffy (25%), and Thomas (5%). Then, Logan-Walton is split three ways between Carter, Hope, and Brooke.”

On the Soap Central Message Boards, GrumblesGrumpy wrote something that summed up many people's feelings: “While it is offensively ridiculous to ask the viewers to believe the Justin and his team of lawyers cannot figure out how to get this LLC coup thrown out, and as Steffy said yesterday it could take years - that made me laugh because it should only take days - and the Forresters are supportive of Steffy's plan, I'm annoyed that they aren't doing more.
“I want to see them act like owners and flex their ownership muscles.” — GrumblesGrumpy, Soap Central Message Boards
GrumblesGrumpy also remarked, “I want to see Eric calling or showing up at FC every day demanding a status report on all lines and financial, reminding Carter FC belongs to the Forresters and Carter may be the manager for now, but he's still an employee and the Forresters are still the owners and so he answers to them. Make him squirm. Make him uncomfortable. Make him remember it isn't his company.”
The commenter had more to add. GrumblesGrumpy detailed, “I want to see the Forresters remembering they are the ones with signing authority on some of the bank accounts or have the ability to move the money to other accounts and cut off Carter's ability to pay for things. Call the bankers who the Forresters have good relations with and tell them to not extend loans to Carter or they will lose all Forrester and FC business. I want to see them calling everyone they know in the industry and tell them to get word out that anyone doing business with Carter will lose favor with FC once the Forresters get control back.”
Viewers know that The Bold and the Beautiful is a soap opera, but fans still want a touch of reality, and things should make sense on some level. For now, if you’re TeamForrester, have faith in Steffy's plan. Or root for Carter to smell a rat, not the intoxicating fumes of a rose called Daphne, if you are TeamLogan.
