The Bold and the Beautiful called a doctor, and they got the best: All My Children alum Vincent Irizarry is reprising his role as Dr. Jordan Armstrong next week.
Daytime fans have been dying to see Vincent Irizarry back on their screens, and The Bold and the Beautiful has granted their wish. The CBS soap opera has asked the beloved actor to reprise his short-lived role as Dr. Jordan Armstrong.
Soaps reports that Irizarry will be stepping back into the shoes of his former Los Angeles alter ego beginning Monday, July 25. There's no word yet on what brings the doc back to the canvas, but Lord knows his presence is needed! With Dr. John "Finn" Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) incapacitated at the moment and Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) dealing with family drama, there aren't a whole lot of people available to take care of medical crises!

For those who might not remember, Dr. Armstrong first hit the canvas in 2019 during the baby Beth reveal storyline and stepped in when Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) was hospitalized after falling off a cliff during an incident involving Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). He later oversaw the care of Katie Logan (Heather Tom) while she experienced kidney failure. It was during the last storyline that a tweet sent out by one of the CBS soap's writers, Patrick Mulcahey, revealed that the good doc was already on his way out.
"Vince, you've been an awesome doctor for us!" Mulcahey tweeted. "I wish we could push the rest of the cast off a cliff one by one so you could take care of them all. Here's hoping our paths cross again. And again."
Irizarry, who underwent surgery in March of this year, has a very long history in soap operas. He's famous for a myriad of roles, including All My Children's David Hayward, Guiding Light's Lujack Luvanoczeck and Nick Spaulding, The Young and the Restless' David Chow, Santa Barbara's Scott Clark, and Days of our Lives' Deimos Kiriakis.
