B&B's Jacqueline MacInnes Wood welcomes baby boy

It's a boy for The Bold and the Beautiful star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester), who became a mom for the first time on March 4.

Congratulations are in order for The Bold and the Beautiful star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) and her husband, Elan Ruspoli: the couple has welcomed a baby boy into the world.

People reports that Rise Harlan Ruspoli was born on March 4, weighing 7 lbs., 13 oz., and measuring 21 inches.

The actress spoke with the publication about her son's name, explaining, "We chose Rise because to us Rise means growth, the simplicity of moving forward. We look to our son as an uplifting force toward positive change and a better world."

Wood first announced her pregnancy back in October while filming a B&B scene that called for the actress to walk down the catwalk in sexy lingerie. As she started the runway journey, she yelled: "I just wanna let you all know: your girl is pregnant! I am pregnant!"

News that the actress was expecting a baby boy followed not long after during the actress' gender reveal party in November, which included guests like B&B's Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra), Annika Noelle (Hope Logan), and Ashleigh Brewer (ex-Ivy Forrester).
