Indoor Boys starring B&B's Alex Wyse takes playful look at gay friendship

The Bold and the Beautiful's Alex Wyse (Saul Feinberg) has created a new series called Indoor Boys that follows two gay Angelenos who walk the line between friends and lovers.

The Bold and the Beautiful's Alex Wyse brings a lot of quirk and comedy in his role as Saul Feinberg, but his new series, Indoor Boys, really allows the actor to shine.

Written and directed by Wyse and Wesley Taylor (The Good Wife), the sexy new web series follows two gay friends who share an apartment -- and just about everything else -- in Los Angeles.

Huffington Post, who will be debuting the series this Sunday, July 16, describes the quirky digital show as a queer-inclusive, millennial take on The Odd Couple with hints of Seinfeld and Girls thrown in.

"The guys spend most of their time out of the California sunshine, perusing social media while curled up on the couch. They're handsome, witty and single, so why are self-imposed obstacles keeping them from finding love?" the outlet teases of the series, which is an expansion of a short play Taylor wrote years ago to explore the "humor, jealousy, and tenderness" that often exist in friendships between gay men.

"We hope people will laugh a lot," Wyse said, "and we hope they'll see themselves in these two friends who know each other better than anyone, kinda want to date, kinda want to stay friends, kinda want to kill each other, and mostly want to have a great time."

Indoor Boys premieres Sunday, July 16, exclusively on HuffPost Queer Voices.
