The Bold and the Beautiful's Linsey Godfrey (Caroline Spencer) toasts in celebration of being cancer free for a full ten years.
The Bold and the Beautiful fans who have been worrying that a health issue has possibly been keeping Linsey Godfrey (Caroline Spencer) off the canvas at the CBS soap can breathe a sigh of relief: the actress took to Instagram to reveal she's celebrating ten years being cancer free.
In a series of celebratory posts, the actress shared that she's elated to have recovered from Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma and is still healthy a decade later.
"Today is my 10 year anniversary of being in remission," she says in a video post. "I've been in remission and officially cured of cancer 10 years. 10 years ago today, January 4, 2007, I did my last round of chemo... So I raise my glass to people who are fighting, to people who have lost their battle, and to finding a cure for all cancers. Cheers."

While fans can now rest assured that Godfrey hasn't been absent from B&B due to a cancer scare, there's still the question of why the actress has rarely been seen on-screen since last fall. Keen viewers may have noticed that her name is missing from the list of contract characters on the show's opening credits, meaning it's possible she's been bumped to recurring status.
Unfortunately, viewers will be kept in the dark for now: neither the actress nor a rep for the CBS soap has commented on her status with the show.
