CBS Daytime has kept true to its "one big family" mentality, with The Bold and the Beautiful casting former The Young and the Restless star Chris McKenna (ex-Detective Harding) in a new role.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and soap stars don't fall far from their original soap homes... on CBS, that is. The Bold and the Beautiful has cast The Young and the Restless alum Chris McKenna (ex-Detective Harding) in what's assumed to be a new role.
The actor tweeted a photo of himself at the CBS Studios where both Y&R and B&B tape with the caption, "First day of work on a new gig. I could swear I've been here before. #YR #BB @BandB_CBS #AcrossTheHall."
At this time, there's no word on what character McKenna will be playing, or how long he'll be sticking around on Y&R's sister soap. B&B does have at least one outstanding and presumably uncast role; In August the show announced it was seeking a performer to play the role of "Christian," a bisexual male. It is unclear if the show changed its mind about introducing the character.
Are you happy to see McKenna finding post-Y&R success? Who do you think he'll play on B&B? We want to hear from you -- so drop your comments in the Comments section below, tweet about it on Twitter, share it on Facebook, or chat about it on our Message Boards.
