B&B continues efforts to diversify its canvas

The Bold and the Beautiful is casting a new 20something African American model.

The Bold and the Beautiful has issued another casting call that will continue to create diversity on the show's canvas.

The unnamed role is a 19- to 24-year-old African American female. She is described as "Beautiful. A model. Very upscale." The character is also "ambitious" and "goes after what she wants."

Bits and pieces of the casting call sound like another recently issued notice. A previous casting call for a "sex kitten" was also said to be a woman who "goes after what she wants."For now, this role will be recurring, but it, too, could become a contract role.
